[The feed opens quite abruptly on a young man looking into the device with a combination of consternation and confusion. A finger appears and taps on the screen, then the view promptly swings around to a pair of perfectly polished dress shoes. The view shakes for a moment before coming back to Percy's face, brow still furrowed.]

Oh, I think it's one of those communication devices - felly - no - telly - telephones? Is it on?

[He speaks loudly now.]

Hello?! Can anyone hear me?

[Beat. He looks worried, biting his lip, then squares his jaw, thinks for a moment, and continues. His tone is firm and authoritative, though those who know him well might be able to spot a very fine thread of fear running through it.]

If anyone can hear me, then I demand safe passage back to England immediately. I am employed by the British government and I guarantee that the Minister will not be pleased to find I have been taken.

I await your response.

Now how do I turn this off?

[Merlin's beard. Merlin's beard. What's the City playing at? He's never been here before, not until that one weekend, and that had to have been a fluke because Percy Weasley doesn't ever follow where his family's been, not for years—Merlin, it's been years—and here he is because who else could it be, she can't forget a face, even if it belongs to her estranged older brother.

Had they even parted on good terms that weekend? Civil, at least? She'd been awful. But they'd still spoken. They'd been in the same room and she didn't draw her wand.

Oh, are you from England? How lovely! Yes, you're doing it quite right, we can all hear you admirably--you could stand to speak a bit softer, really, and we'd all still hear you just fine--and I don't think you'll want to turn it off just yet, before anyone can answer you, but when you do there ought to be a button on the side near a little red light? Or possibly a switch of some sort, but it's usually near a red light, and that's how you know if it's on or off.

[No way. No bloody way. Hadn't he been talking to Hanna about this, once? How Perce'd never come here but if he did, he'd have his knickers right in a knot from the get-go? It was all a joke, a mere jest, a quiet, unspoken hope, but Fred never imagined he'd actually show. He was certain that odd weekend would've been it, a lucky mishap, and that was all. That was enough.

...No, of course that wasn't bloody enough because Percy is here, and there's something altogether wonderful and terrible tearing at the useless lump of flesh in his chest that stopped beating long ago yet manages to hurt all the same. Even still, there's no denying the excitement, the possibility that maybe, just maybe, they'll actually have a chance to be brothers again before he's torn away by an explosion--]

[It's a good thing they woke up proper again this morning, else this'd be loads more awkward then it's bound to be. Grinning in full force, that particular sort of devious tinge to it, and maybe also a bit of apprehension in the hands that are hidden out of view from the device - but the fact still stands. There's a distressed Percy and only a few about to take the mickey. (Remind him to hug Harry later for pure brilliance.)]

Oh, thank Merlin! We've finally got Perfect Prefect Percy here to save the day. Go on, then, refer them to the Department of Magical Law Enforcement. Or have them fill out some paperwork, I bet that'd really hack them off. They'll send us all home out of sheer irritation.
